Recommendations

I had a hard time finding MM backing tracks, and the few I did find bore little resemblance to the originals.
These excellent tracks by Botielus made my performances sparkle like diamonds!

I just listened to "MarilynSongs" today. My, there is an excellent pianist on these recordings.
It was so nice to hear "My heart belongs to Daddy" as it's supposed to be played instead of the way it evolved into something totally else through the "Legends" primordial time tunnel stew soup kitchen sink scatter shot system of musical renditionizing. ackk ... what a tongue twister ...hmm...how did tongue twisting get such bad name. In some circles I'm sure it might be considered quite intriguing! Nowadays..anything goes though, doesn't it?

The idea of a CD with background tracks of Marilyn songs is a coooool idea.
The quality of the musical arrangements and performance and the recording is excellent
for use by professional tribute artists and it's also perfect for amateurs

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Does the CD come with lyric sheets?
A: We don't offer lyric sheets at this time. However, the lyrics are readily available on the Internet. The arrangements of these songs are true to the original versions on the Marilyn Monroe albums: "Never Before & Never Again" & "The Magic Collection".

Q: Why doesn't the CD come with lyric sheets?
A: The cost of licensing the lyrics in addition to the music would make the cost of this CD prohibitive to you the consumer.

Q: I have a karaoke machine. Will this CD show words to sing along with if I play it on that?
A: This is purely an audio CD. It is not in CDG format and will not display words on your karaoke machine.

Q: I only need a few of these songs. Can you make a special CD just for me of just the songs I want?
A: We are sorry that we cannot offer custom CDs for you. Our licensing agreement prohibits selling these songs separate from this particular album format. The only exception is the "Drums Intro" (the 1st cut) because it is Botielus' own composition.

Q: Can you send me the songs as MP3s?

Q: I do not live in the United States. How much is shipping to my country?
A: Shipping to anywhere in the world is included in the $30 purchase price!

Q: When will you release Volume 2?
A: There is no set date at this time. We will be notifying everyone who purchases Volume 1 when Volume 2 is released.

Q: What songs will be on Volume 2?
A: That has not yet been determined. Please feel free to make a request. Songs that receive the most requests are more likely to be done first. Each song took an average of 35 hours for Botielus to complete, so your particular request might not be done immediately unless he is commissioned specifically.

Q: The web site says this is a "limited edition" - how do I know you have any left?
A: This item is currently in stock and we assure you that your order will be filled!

Q: Are the CDs CD-G compatible?
A: We BELIEVE so, although no lyrics will display. We haven't tested them playing in karaoke CD-G players, but a few of the recent sales were to persons using them this way, and we haven't heard any complaints! Please let us know!
